chasing Jannah:
The heart is always in love with someone.Either love for Allah subhanah wa-ta'ala (Arabic: سبحانه وتعالى)
permeates the heart or love forother than Allah subhanah wa ta'ala will permeat it.Nowadays, love of the
material world(dunya)has overpowered our hearts and through heedlessness we have become increasingly distan from our Lord.
Truly love for Allah subhanah wa ta'ala is the need of the times. Our problem is two fold:First,we are unaware of our lord and
ignorant of the close relationship He wishes to have with us.Allah subhanah wa ta'ala states,
"Verily,Iam near."(2:186)
And second we lack any desireto be close to our creator.
here is some poems &says of RabiaBasri...about Love for Allah Subhahana Wa ta'la
Reality (poem)
In love, nothing exists between heart and heart.
Speech is born out of longing,
True description from the real taste.
The one who tastes, knows;
the one who explains, lies.
How can you describe the true form of Something
In whose presence you are blotted out?
And in whose being you still exist?
And who lives as a sign for your journey?

Poeam&Quotes by Rabia Al Basri.
O my Lord,
O my Lord,if I worship you
if I worship you
from fear of hell, burn me in hell.
If I worship you
from hope of Paradise, bar me from its gates.
But if I worship you
for yourself alone, grant me then the beauty of your Face.
I have two ways of loving You:
I have two ways of loving You:
A selfish one
And another way that is worthy of You.
In my selfish love, I remember You and You alone.
In that other love, You lift the veil
And let me feast my eyes on Your Living Face.
With my Beloved
I alone have been,
When secrets tenderer than evening airs
Passed, and the Vision blest
Was granted to my prayers,
That crowned me, else obscure, with endless fame;
The while amazed between
His Beauty and His Majesty
I stood in silent ecstasy
Revealing that which o'er my spirit went and came.
Lo, in His face commingled
Is every charm and grace;
The whole of Beauty singled
Into a perfect face
Beholding Him would cry,
'There is no God but He, and He is the most high
Quotes:
Where a part of you goes
The rest of you will follow---given time.
You call yourself a teacher:
Therefore learn.
I love God: I have no time left
In which to hate the devil.
How long will you keep pounding on an open door
Begging for someone to open it?
O my Lord,
the stars glitter
O my Lord,
the stars glitter
and the eyes of men are closed.
Kings have locked their doors
and each lover is alone with his love.
Here, I am alone with you.
