Slumdog Millionaire
Im not happy with the title nor the way the movie has been made.
It is a sadistic caricature of India in the times of recession.
The movie is realistic .
this movie only..reflicted..
Mumbai slum area not about whole India..
We are a third world country and we are still developing.
Whats shown in the movie is reality.
So what are we denying?
Instead of creating a hue and cry about the title of the film.
We should take it as an awakening call and work towards making India a better place,
So that nobody in future portrays India like this.
There is no point criticising the film when some of us don't even understand the meaning of''slumdog''.
The movie is realistic but then.
Even Satyajit Ray portrayed realism in this movie does.
The title is humiliating, because there's more to India than slums.
It's a foreigner's perception of India..
[b]yeah very true we shld work hard to make our country no1...
ReplyDeletei agree with u...!!
Great movie! Just saw it today. I was brought to tears. If this is what is takes for India to receive aid, I'm all for the mis-representation.
ReplyDeleteThis is why I initially didn't wanna see it, but I've been hearing a lot of review about it. InshAllah if it's not rated for sex I'll give it a try but keep what you said in mind about misinterpretations!
