monsoon rain

rain washes away all the painful memories..and leaves behind a fresh fragnance of happiness.......im jst crazy abt gettin wet in rain, like the smell of earth after rain. The pure sweet smell of the dry earth giving forth its intoxicating aroma when moistened by rain is deeply enshrined in the heart. We love fragrance of the earth cozthe aroma of plants and earth after rain saturates and refreshes! We love the smell of the earth and the leaves just after the rains!

The Sky, Clouds, Mountains, Sun, Sea, Breeze Pleasant, soft, blooming flowers, light breeze gently swaying the plants around in a rythm..
" " " " '" " " ' "' ' ' ' '' '' ''' ''' ''' '''' ''''' '''''' ''' ''''''' ''' '''''' ''' ' ' ' ''' ''' '' '' '' '' '' '' '' '' '' '' ''

Rains & Roses

“Raise your words, not voice. It is rain that grows flowers, not thunder.” ― Rumi

I like it when it rains and i hear the raindrops...some people feel the rain, others just get wet...the smell after rain...'s raining...i like people who smile when it's raining...umm...i love rainy days with a blanket and a cup of tea and a book..my perfect day!

Happy things:

Tea
good music
your smile
kitty snuggles
soft lips
rainy days
old photos
hearing "i love you"
raining outside,
cuddled up in bed,
my laptop by my side
loads of food
getting lost in a good book.

Day by day I float my paper boats.....

Tagore's Poem-Day by day I float my paper boats

Day by day I float my paper boats one by one down the running
stream.

In big black letters I write my name on them and the name of
the village where I live.
I
hope that someone in some strange land will find them and
know who I am.

I load my little boats with shiuli flower from our garden, and
hope that these blooms of the dawn will be carried safely to land
in the night.

I launch my paper boats and look up into the sky and see the
little clouds setting thee white bulging sails.

I know not what playmate of mine in the sky sends them down
the air to race with my boats!

When night comes I bury my face in my arms and dream that my
paper boats float on and on under the midnight stars.

The fairies of sleep are sailing in them, and the lading is
their baskets full of dreams.

this poem is a story about a boy being abused at some as he tries to send a message out with the paper boats.
this poem reminds my childhood days on my mind.i luv this poem when im studying school this poem is part of my studys...my mam explained this poem very interesting.........and i also make paper boats ...when rain showerig showering....after rain....or still raining...me &my bro's make paper boats ...and "katti padava"[telugu] means this is calling our native one of the regional languages in India [advanced modal in paperboats] this boat have a knife (bottom of the paer boat) this is amazing experience..we can't forget those dayz..
This is a really emotive time of when life seemed to have spare time, wanting to be known by others, the excitement of people around the world receiving his several many paper boats, finding out his information almost connects them together.
monsoon rain brings puddles... And where you find puddles, you'll find kids! Have fun in thepuddles..with paper boats.....:)
when rain showering ...
showering .....showering.....
i always reminds this poem...
rain brings puddles... And where you find puddles, you'll find kids! Have fun in the puddles with boats.....and feel like a child..
One more of my all time favorites will be coming up soon too..
P.S: Happy birthday Rabindranath Tagore! :)

The prettiest rain..is sometimes the much needed rain.
We woke up to rain this morning which was wonderful.
We haven't had rain in almost three months. It was beautiful.

Rain @ our home town

[photos taken from back yard &;front side of our home in early morning]

Clouds arriving... Clouds arrivingClouds arriving

Refractions of Rain:
The rain never really stopped through the night..Woke up to diamond looking droplets all over my new growing "aloe vera" plant  I got drops... and a bug!!!

"Aloe Vera"
Aloe Vera(Aloe barbadensis) is often called"the fountain of youth"and "the first-aid plant"and rightly so.It has been used since ages for its soothing and headling properties.Today, many ancient tales of Aloe Vera have been proven to be factual as modern unlocks the wonders busting within its leaf

Happy Green Tuesday everyone, I have a feeling this is going to be a good week and if the cooler weather stays around a bit longer, it just might be a GREAT WEEK!

I used to run out after it rained, and even sometimes while it was still raining, just so I could enjoy the unique world of drops all over the new Spring growth.

A beautiful and blinding morning
The world outside begins to breathe
See clouds arriving without warning
I need you here to shelter me

Singin' in the Rain (lyrics by Arthur Freed and music by Nacio Herb Brown):

I'm singing in the rain
Just singing in the rain
What a glorious feeling
I'm happy again
I'm laughing at cloudsSo dark
up aboveThe sun's in my heart
And I'm ready for love
For loveLet the stormy clouds
chaseEveryone from the place
Come on with the rain
I've a smile on my face
I'll walk down the lane
With a happy refrainSinging,
singing in the rainIn the rain.

The Rhythm of Rain

Oh! At last the rain has arrived,
On the mighty wings of wind,
Painting smeary black on the sky,
Lashing silky white hair,
On the strong concrete pediments,
Down comes the rain
Forcing the metro to chill.

Oh !the mighty drops are here again,
Spilling cool spray on the sky scrappers
Drenching the ground still parched and thirsty
Slowing down the motors to creep a while
The pied crested cuckoo in panic far away,
Down pours the rain with
Bleakly white drops.

The bountiful Rain ravished
On the metro life
Roaring as a lion a while
And shimmering as a sword
Played with the naughty boy,
Stretching hands in the balcony,
The drenching lovebirds moved
Closer sharing the warmth,
Charming bride’s dimples
Glittered in the neon,
With crystal clear droplets.

The rain in the metro drizzled,
As a sweet melody of first love,
The green started spouting,
And the tiny tot giggled,
The handsome guy whistled
Why the girl next door blushed ?
Through the misty curtained window.

Down comes the drop tick ..tick ..tick
Is that the rhythm ,of my own heart?
The rain in the metro gushes and gushes
Bringing life and hope once again
And forever
